Problem Statement

Sheridan College is creating a platform for reporting the campus building or equipment issues to make it easier for students to report issues. Students who have reported campus issues have pointed out the following problems:

confused on where to report
hard to describe the location of the damaged facilities
spending too much time on filling the paper report form

Users experiencing these pain points become frustrated and anxious about reporting issues on campus.
This makes the students not willing to report any issues in person.

Solution

I decided to create an app for reporting issues of campus building or equipment.

Because it can operate remotely, quicker and easier through the target audience's mobile. They can report anytime, anywhere and anyplace they want.

A camera function will be available on it, users can take photos or videos of the damage facilities without writing a long description if they don't have time to write it.

- The colours of the app are base on the most used colour from the Sheridan website.

Spanner and screwer are the things come in my mind when I think about "repair"
I used two most iconic colours of Sheridan and created a linear gradient background.

Wireframe Flow

Users can report issues from the main page after login by Sheridan College username and password. There are two ways to report:

- Report through the "+" icon on the right top corner.

- Report through choosing the campus from the map, and click on the area of this campus under the map.
